It all started in September 2017, when Virgil Abloh released the first reconstructed sneaker of the collaboration with Nike. All sneakers featured trademark Off-White elements such as zip-ties and text in air quotes on the heel (“AIR”) and shoelaces (“SHOELACES”). In addition to that every sneaker has the collab name Off-White™ for Nike, the sneaker model in quotes “AIR JORDAN 1”, origin of the model (Beaverton, Oregon USA) and the genesis year (1985).
